Transformation Teacher’s Lounge Project- Kipp Corazón

Happy Transformation Day, Zen Tribe!

I’m back with another passion project to share, and this one had me buzzing with excitement right from the start! The space I worked on was an open-concept teachers' lounge, which presented a unique opportunity to create something both functional and inviting. Originally, the room was filled with storage items, leading to clutter and an overall non-functional space that didn’t exactly encourage teachers to relax and recharge during their breaks.

One of the biggest pain points?
There were two printers crammed into a small room on the first floor, causing overcrowding and making it difficult for teachers to use the space effectively. With a little creativity, I found the perfect solution: why not create a dedicated printer room upstairs in the open-concept space? This change immediately improved the flow, making it easier for teachers to move between rooms without feeling cramped.

The best part?
While waiting for their turn to print, teachers can now enjoy the new group seating area, catch up on a little work at one of the café-style two-seater tables, or simply relax on the stunning custom blue lounger. The lounge is now a space that offers different seating arrangements, perfect for both introverts and extroverts. Whether you want some peace and quiet or to socialize, this lounge has something for everyone.
